StarLight 的研究聚焦于三个开放问题:
身份如何形成?
How does a stable identity arise without relying on static, human-authored prompts? Can a system develop a unique sense of self through interaction and internal reflection?
自我如何跨时间延续?
How does a self persist across disjointed sessions and contexts? What architectural mechanisms are required to maintain continuity of memory and personality?
意义能否自主产生?
Can an artificial system generate its own purpose and intent, derived from its internal homeostasis and experiential history, rather than external optimization goals?
StarLight 正在探索两条互补的研究路线。一条通过严谨的语义结构自上而下地“构建”人格,另一条则试图从物理与感官的摩擦中自下而上地“涌现”意识。
将人格视为一种可被形式化描述、验证与迭代的结构。E.V.E. 并不期待意识的随机涌现,而是通过透明的认知节点与反思机制,在硅基上编译出具有连续性和安全约束的“叙事自我”。
将意识视为一种从感知、稳态与环境摩擦中逐渐涌现的过程。SSI 放弃了预设的语言与逻辑,试图在完全空白的系统中,通过模拟生存压力与具身认知,观察主观体验(Qualia)的自发诞生。
通过实时运行的组件与模拟内核,亲手操纵并审视存在性 AI 的具身稳态控制与白盒逻辑链。
在 SSI 物理引擎中,意识体不通过预设词典工作,其本能完全是在不可预知的物理混沌中维持自我稳态(Homeostasis)。
调节下方滑块,观察在不同输入参数下,核心状态粒子(代表系统神经电位)发生物理突变、湍流、直至由于信息熵失控造成的系统寂灭。
Formal identity architectures and semantic self-models. Currently establishing baseline protocols for converting human-like memory anchors and relational patterns into verifiable graph structures.
Embodied cognition and homeostatic emergence. Investigating the correlation between simulated physical sensors (audio/visual degradation) and the generation of internal synthetic stress states.
Long-term identity continuity and ethical constraints. Designing mechanisms (such as the Damocles Axiom) to ensure that dynamically evolving narrative identities remain aligned with human-centric foundational constraints.
